What is Precision TX?
Precision TX uses laser technology to achieve a firmer neck, tightened face, and a more defined jawline. The procedure is an effective alternative to a facelift or neck lift to recontour the area. The procedure involves very small incisions in which a small laser is inserted and is used to heat the tissue, tightening the skin and promoting collagen growth for stronger skin.
Who is a Candidate?
Those who have mild to moderate skin laxity in the lower face and neck area can benefit from Precision TX. The laser treatment is a great option for those who are not ready for a face/neck lift or for those whose loose skin is not severe enough to need one. Common areas treated with precision TX are the jowls and a double chin.
The Precision TX Procedure
The procedure begins with three small incisions, two behind the ears and one under the chin. Through the incisions, a small cannula device is inserted under the skin to allow targeted laser energy to be delivered to the area. The Precision TX laser energy then heats and melts the fat, which is then removed through the cannula. Local anesthesia will be delivered to make the process as comfortable as possible. Patients report only feeling a slight pressure during the procedure. A treatment session with Precision TX can last about 60 to 90 minutes.
Results and Recovery
Compared to a traditional face or neck lift, recovery from Precision TX treatment is much quicker. Patients usually experience mild side effects such as swelling and discomfort during the first week.
Patients can experience effective results after just one treatment with Precision TX. Results will continue to develop over the course of the next several months as collagen is being produced for stronger, tightened skin.
